The Humane Economy

Wayne Pacelle is a leading animal welfare advocate and former president of the Humane Society of the United States. Under his leadership, the organization achieved landmark reforms in factory farming, animal testing and wildlife protection. He is the author of “The Humane Economy,” which outlines how market forces can be harnessed to advance animal rights. Pacelle continues to influence both policy and consumer awareness through strategic advocacy. He currently serves as president of both Animal Wellness Action and the Center for a Humane Economy.
