Actor Matthew Modine, best known as the sinister Dr. Martin Brenner in “Stranger Things,” takes viewers behind the scenes of Stanley Kubrick’s “Full Metal Jacket” through the diary and photographs he kept during production. Encouraged by Kubrick to document the experience, Modine captured the demanding process of playing Private “Joker” and the unusual rhythms of working with one of cinema’s most meticulous filmmakers.
