Similarities Between Chimpanzees And Humans

Chimpanzees are humans’ closest relatives. Decades of research have revealed that our species share many traits, like our long lifespans and close, complex social relationships. But their lives in the forests of central Africa are vastly different from our own. What are the factors that have shaped chimpanzee behaviors? How do they navigate the ecological and social challenges that face them? Join evolutionary anthropologist Dr. Emily Boehm to explore the evolution of chimpanzee behaviors, particularly those involved in mating, conception, gestation, and maternal care.
